A thesis can be submitted and defended
2 times during an academic year.
All students who plan to graduate in the academic year 2008/2009, should register by January the 19th 2009. The registration form can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar and Student Services or printed out from the university homepage (http://www.audentes.eu/16535). You will also need to indicate whether you plan to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Filling in the Registration Form is compulsory for graduating!

In order to register for Bachelor or Master's Thesis students must fill out the Thesis Registration Form and submit it to the SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS 's Office by September, 15.
There is no need to register for Bachelor or Master's Thesis in the Office of Student Services.
In order to defend a Bachelor or Master's Thesis in Fall 2008, the main deadlines are:
- Registration: Students must fill out the Thesis Registration Form, get signatures from their respective advisor and submit the form to the SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS's Office.
There is no need to register for the Thesis in the Office of Student Services.
No Thesis Registration Forms for the fall semester will be accepted after September 15, 2008. - Thesis title: Monday, November 24
Correct titles in English and Estonian must be sent to the SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS : jelena.sormus@tv.ttu.ee The titles must be approved by the advisors beforehand. The student her/himself is responsible for the correct academic translation. - Last day to request an Incomplete (IC): Monday, December 1
A student may apply for an Incomlete only if he/she has completed 50% or more of the material (Thesis). - Final copy: Monday, December 15
Bachelor Students must submit:
1) two copies (including one (1) hard bound copy) to the SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS (to Jelena Sõrmus, Assistant of the Head of School) (1 copy is for the second reader);
2) written comments from thesis advisor.
Master Students must submit:
1) Three copies (including one (1) hard bound copy) to the SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS (to Jelena Sõrmus, Assistant of the Head of School) (2 copies are for the second readers );
2) written comments from thesis advisor.
- Written Comments from the second reader (For Master Students - two written Comments) given to the SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS : Friday, January 10.
Please, send your Thesis presentation in PowerPoint to Jelena Sõrmus (jelena.sormus@tv.ttu.ee ) at least by January 21
Oral defense: January 22. - January 23, 2009
