WebCT: creating a user account and getting registered to an e-course

WebCT is a web-based learning environment where all IUA e-courses are stored. Following manual covers procedures of making a user account and self-registration to the e-course.

1. Navigate to http://webct.e-uni.ee

2. From the institution list select “Tallinna Tehnikaülikool”

If You don’t have a WebCT user account yet, please take the following steps to create one. Students who already have an account should skip these steps.

1. Press the Create Account button
2. Fill out the form, specifying your correct first and last names and e-mail address. Please pay attention to the Secret Question and Secret Answers fields – those will help You to restore your password in case of loss. When You’re done, press Save button
3. Your WebCT user account is ready, use Entry Page button to go back and proceed

 When You have Your WebCT account set up, You can register to a course.

1. Press the View Course List button
2. From the institution list select Tallinna Tehnikaülikool
3. From the list select the propriate Teaduskonnad
4. From the list select Majadusteaduskond
5. From the list select the uncategorized category
6. From the list select TTU_Audentes
7. Click on the little green triangle next to TTU_Audentes to Expand the list of available courses
8. Locate a self-register icon next to the desired course name and click on it
9. Enter your WebCT user name and password, then click Register button
10. When you finish, press the Go to My Blackboard button

 Afterwards, use Log In button on the entry page to log in and explore your courses.
